Breann Barge

Creative writing major Breann Barge served as the president and founder of Untold Stories for People of Color (USPoC). USPoC is an organization for students of color on campus who are interested in reading and writing.
Breann founded the club as a way for underrepresented students to feel comfortable on campus while doing something they enjoy. Breann thinks of the club as a way “to feel safe to explore and nurture your writing”. She also credits the club with giving her the opportunity to “facilitate meetings, practice my writing, and have others to listen to”.
