Student Media

If you’ve ever had an interest in getting involved in radio, newspaper, or TV, Student Life can help you get a taste of what it’s like to work in the media. Grand Valley Television (GVTV) allows you to help create a variety of student-run TV shows that air on Grand Valley’s closed-circuit television system. Maybe you want to be a writer or editor for our student newspaper: the Lanthorn. Perhaps you’ve always had a love for radio and want to learn more about getting involved with GV’s own Whale Radio. These opportunities are unique and will help you develop countless skills that could potentially prepare you for careers after college.
