Professor Ronk has over 20 years’ of experience practicing social work. Clinically, Professor Ronk specialized in working with children, adolescent, and families as well as mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. Administratively, Professor Ronk has substantial experience in providing clinical supervision, program management, and performance improvement within the non-profit, behavioral health sector. During her career Professor Ronk worked for Children and Family Services of Kalamazoo, Network 180, and Arbor Circle. Professor Ronk has 5+ years’ experience in administering GVSU’s field education program.
BS from Central Michigan University with a major in Sociology, concentration in Social Work and minors in Psychology, Family Life and Human Sexuality, and Management
Master of Social Work from Grand Valley State University
