Sue Nieboer RN, MPA, CEC. is the first Executive in Residence for the MHA Program, a certified executive coach, consultant, professor, and healthcare professional with 33 years in health systems leadership. She has extensive experience in strategic planning, change management, organizational development, and operational and financial accountability. She also has expertise in physician and clinical staff relationships, new business development, team building, clinical quality and operational efficiency.
Sue is President of Catalyst 1 Consulting, an innovative consulting firm that brings new ideas and growth to organizations and individuals . She has held many leadership positions in hospitals. Her latest position was the Vice President of Clinical Operations/COO at South Haven Health System before coming back to GVSU in the Fall of 2014. She loves teaching and influencing the next generation of healthcare leaders.
