Melissa Jakubowitz is a consultant providing telepractice training to clinicians in practice settings and faculty/staff in higher education. Ms. Jakubowitz is a board certified specialist in child language and has extensive experience working directly with school age students in various settings in addition to leadership positions in both work settings and professional associations. Content will include ethics, confidentiality, mandated reporting, and technology applications. Afternoon session content specific to speech-language pathology – although all welcome.
Telehealth and Telepractice Training for the Rehabilitation Therapies program is free and open to any faculty/staff member, preceptor, undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a health-related or education academic program. This event is made possible by the College of Health Professions Communication Sciences & Disorders Department.
