National Voter Registration Day 2022

Tuesday, September 20

Cook Carillon Clock Tower

National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) is a national holiday that was first observed in 2012. NVRD is held annually on the Fourth Tuesday of September. The holiday has been endorsed by the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) and is further supported by the National Association of State Election Directors (NASED), along with the Students Learn Students Vote Coalition (SLSV). In 2018 and beyond, GVSU has led the state by registering the most students in a day on National Voter Registration Day, in partnership with the Michigan Mobile Secretary of State Unit and the MDOS College Tour!
