Duties of Volunteer
Meal/Recipe Coordination
Work with Volunteer Coordinator and Program Director to help plan and prepare weekly and special event meals for members to efficiently utilize donations; including recipe development, food ordering and pick up.
Work with other Staff, as needed, to coordinate menus for fundraising/donor events as needed
Anticipate needs for food in the Clubhouse and communicate with appropriate staff person.
Volunteer Use and Oversight
Plan, work with,/and oversee volunteers as needed for Clubhouse meal preparation and shopping projects.
Coordinate and work with other GC volunteer staff to plan for volunteer work days (e.g., corporate and academic volunteer days).
Create and foster a welcoming environment for volunteers to ensure that they have a rewarding experience.
