Duties of Volunteer
Main duties are assisting in various levels of production of educational videos for a local, non-profit science institute. Applicants are generally placed within areas of most interest/skill, but are given opportunities to work with and learn new tasks they may not have much experience with as well. We are looking for people interested in roles such as camera op, editor, graphic designer, or animator.

Details of special skills
We prefer if the volunteers have at least a basic introduction to the skills needed in a given role. Basically what a 100 level class in the related majors at GVSU would have given them. -Camera Ops: An understanding of the rules of composition and some experience working with a camera. -Editor: some experience with Final Cut or Adobe Premiere. Enough to know their way around the basics of the program. -Graphic Designer: basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. After Effects a plus, but not required. -Animator: basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects. Experience with Adobe Flash a plus, but not required.
