Students pay their standard GVSU tuition rate plus a $500 program fee.  

**3 need-based scholarships are available to cover the program fee. This is a newly established scholarship fund. 


Students are required to live in community housing arranged with other students from the Semester in Detroit program.  Housing is arranged near the UM Detroit Center in the Cass Corridor / Midtown area.  Housing costs are comparable to that of university housing.
