Seidman Spotlight - Eric Larson

Eric Larson

1999, Master of Business Administration

How and why, have you stayed involved with Grand Valley since graduation?
I have served on the Seidman Alumni Board for 10+ years; I have also been an adjunct faculty member in the Economics department for 10 years.  I actively participate in GVSU events, including many visioning and planning sessions.

What do you do in your spare time (and what makes you the happiest)?
I love the outdoors and all seasons.  Spending time outside walking in the woods, skiing, hiking, relaxing at the beach, or even working in the yard is fantastic!  I also love to travel and see new parts of the country and world.

How would you rate your memory?  Why?
Very good.  I don’t know why, but I have always been able to store away all sorts of information – most of which is only helpful when playing trivia games.

If you could redesign the food pyramid without any unfavorable health consequences, how would it look?
Donuts.  Donuts would be healthy.  And jelly beans.
