A half-day conference at the Seidman College of Business Wednesday, Oct. 10th, 2018 featuring:

  • Luncheon Keynote address:  “How the Dutch are Dealing with Climate Change: Polders, Politics and Markets”   by Wageningen University (Netherlands)  researcher and author dr. Mandy de Wilde

  • Three successive 45-minute panel discussions with representatives from Michigan businesses (Consumers Energy, Steelcase, Meijer and more), non-profits (Sierra Club, the Climate Witness Project and more), and government (the City of Grand Rapids and others).  Topics include “Energy and Michigan’s Future: Policies and Practices”;   “Business: Progress and Profit in an Age of Climate Change”;   and “Moving Forward Together: What We Can All Do”  

  • Networking opportunities with those leading initiatives in the State

The RSVP line will open Sept. 1.  Further details about the content of the panel discussions, along with presenters’ bios, will be posted on the KBEI website as of Sept. 1.
