GVSU Mourns the Loss of Jane Swanson

Jane Swanson, a professor in the School of Social Work passed away on April 23, 2019 at age 76. She beat cancer several times, she had diabetes and periods of clinical depression, but she persevered and thrived nonetheless. On Tuesday the 23rd she died sleeping in her own bed just as she wanted; with several cats at her side and her devoted husband of 54 years puttering in the kitchen.
