GVSU Mourns the Loss of Frederick Bevis

Fred began his employment with GVSU in September 1964 as an Associate Professor. He was one of the first Biology faculty members. He was also the founding member of the Environmental Science Department, which later became Planning and Resource Management, and which rejoined the Biology Department in the mid 1980s as the Natural Resources Management Program. Fred also served a term during his time at GVSU as Chair of the Biology Department. He retired in December 1993. Arrangements will be posted once they have been made available.
