Wellness is a conscious, self-directed and evolving process of achieving full potential. How do you actively pursue your wellness?
I am passionate about pushing myself to reach a higher (personal) feeling of wellness each day. Currently, I am participating in a Mental Toughness Challenge called 75 Hard. While it helps me stick to consistent workouts and meal plans, reading personal development books, limiting alcohol intake, and being outdoors each day... it has also been allowing me to learn new ways to stay motivated emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I love engaging in activities that incorporate more than one dimension of wellness.

What do you do to take care of yourself when you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed?
I make a point to put away technology! My cell phone, computer, apple watch... everything. I try to take a moment to myself and be mindful about the present without comparing myself to others.

What motivates you to be well and stay healthy?
Having people in my social network that support and share similar goals as I do definitely motives me to be well and stay healthy! Nothing beats a nice venting session with someone who understands your view or celebrates with you on an accomplishment!
