Description
Join GVSU Outdoor Adventures program on a top-rope climbing experience at Devil's Lake State Park in Wisconsin. Devils Lake is one of the premier climbing destinations in the midwest and offers arguably the most scenic single-pitch climbs you'll find anywhere. Climbs will be established by a PCGI certified guide and the experienced OA trip leaders will be available to handle your ropes. Technical gear will be provided as-needed.
Some climbing experience is recommended. Although the trails are relatively improved and paved in some areas, the ability to walk 1-2 miles on uneven and steep terrain is a must.
Cost: $175
Depart: Saturday, October 19 2019 at 8am
Return: Tuesday, October 22 2019 at 5pm
Included: Transportation to/from, campsite, dinners
at camp (2), technical climbing & camping gear as-needed.
Required Pre-Trip Meeting: Wednesday October 16th @ 6pm in Climbing Center (FH 170)
Packing List: Will be provided after registration.
Meals: GVSU Outdoor Adventures will provide a group dinner for each night in camp. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are participant responsibility.
