Description
Join GVSU Outdoor Adventures to experience the natural wonders of Arkansas's Horseshoe Canyon Ranch.
Horseshoe Canyon Ranch climbing is known around the world in the climbing community as a great destination for some of the finest sandstone sport climbing anywhere. Featured in multiple outdoor magazines, Horseshoe Canyon Ranch climbing is one of the best climbing areas east of the Rockies. Whether you are an experienced climber or just picking it up, you will love Horseshoe Canyon Ranch climbing. You don’t have to be a top class climber to enjoy climbing at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch. They have many beginner routes available for the person who is just starting out.

Cost:
Early Bird (01/18/2019) = $250
Regular
Price = $300
Depart: Saturday March 2nd 2019 at 7am (time tentative)
Return: Wednesday March 6th 2019 at 10pm (time tentative)
Experience Requirements: Some climbing experience is
highly recommended (indoor experience counts) but not required.
Never climbed before? Consider registering for our 3 session Intro
to Climbing workshop that starts on Wednesday, Jan. 23.
Included: Transportation, campsite, dinner, and
camping and climbing gear provided upon request.
Required Pre-Trip Meetings: Wednesday February 27th @
6pm in FH Room 11
Instructions: The van will leave from the Fieldhouse
circle drive (across from Mackinac hall. Participants should plan to
arrive by 6:45am.)
Packing List: Will be provided after registration.
Meals: GVSU Outdoor Adventures will provide a group dinner for each night. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are participant responsibility.
