Description

Snowshoeing in Michigan is a great way to see the tranquil beauty of the winter season, offering outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers a respite among picturesque trails and terrains. Catch a glimpse of rabbits and deer and you trek along GVSU's Ravine Trails. One of the oldest forms of transportation, snowshoeing offers a glimpse into our ancient cultures while staying connected with the world around us today.

Enjoy the winter weather on campus with a group of your fellow GVSU students on Friday evenings for a casual walk through the GVSU Ravines area.  No experience is necessary and OA will plan to provide each participant with snowshoes unless informed otherwise.

Cost: $5

Location: We will meet at the front of the Fieldhouse circle drive 15 minutes prior to the start of the hike.

* If there is no snow on the ground, we will still hike around the ravines (w/o snowshoes)
