Our CPR, First Aid, and AED Trainings are:

  • Hands-on training to teach participants lifesaving skills is the basis of these courses.
  • Intended for individuals to use in the workplace and schools
  • Basic courses and do not meet any type of advanced or professional rescuer type of credentialing.  
  • Classes that meet OSHA Guidelines for First Aid Programs
  • Classes that combine lecture with interactive video demonstrations featuring emergency scenarios that are likely to occur in a variety of environments.

WHAT IS CPR?

  • Adult CPR: Participants learn how to perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults.
  • Adult and Child CPR: Participants learn how to perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults and in children over the age of 1
  • Adult and Pediatric CPR: Participants learn how to perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults and in children over the age of 1, as well as infants under the age of 1.
  • Infant CPR: Participants learn how to prevent, recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in infants under the age of 1

WHAT IS FIRST AID AND AED?

First Aid: Participants learn to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies, such as burns, cuts and scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck and back injuries, and heat and cold emergencies.

AED: Participants learn how to use automatic external defibrillators.

For the below classes, certification is awarded through the American Red Cross and is good for 2 years.

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Traditional Course

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED (Traditional Classroom Setting)

The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED BLENDED COURSE

Web-based and Classroom

This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. The online portion of this blended course features award-winning simulation learning – an interactive experience where you will respond to real-world emergencies in a virtual setting – which will prepare you for the instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a Flash-enabled PC with a high speed Internet connection. Allow 2 hours 45 minutes to complete the online portion if you are new to First Aid/CPR/AED training or 55 minutes if you have previously received certification. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
