Taylor Boyd

Taylor Boyd began his appointment as the Assessment Specialist in January of 2018. His duties and responsibilities include assessment, strategic planning, and accreditation. He assists departments and units in both student and academic affairs with developing, tracking, and reporting student learning/student centered outcomes as well as strategic planning efforts. Additionally, he actively contributes to ongoing accreditation efforts at the institutional level. 

Mr. Boyd earned his M.Ed. in Higher Education with an emphasis on College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University and a B.S. from Appalachian State University. During his collegiate tenure, Mr. Boyd reviewed, wrote, and analyzed assessment reports for institutional departments, developed academic curriculum, and served on institution wide committees, and initiated independent research projects. He has had the pleasure of presenting on various topics at the state, regional, and national levels. Mr. Boyd has a passion for learning and aspires to impact students and enact change on an institutional level.
