PLS 325 Human Rights and Democracy in Russia and the Post-Communist World

Discover the politics of post-Soviet Russia, the former Soviet
Union, and post-communist Europe and how political regimes affect
human rights. Emphasis is placed on the different levels of state
repression and civil, political, social, and economic rights across
the region.
Prerequisite: PLS 103 or junior standing.
