Kendall Minor

Kendall Minor

International Relations major and Middle East Studies minor Kendall Minor was an intern at Jewish Family Services (JFS) of Washtenaw County during the summer before her senior year at GVSU. Upon completing her degree, Kendall was hired as an IDA Program coordinator at JFS. IDA stands for Individual Development Accounts. IDA accounts allow refugees, victims of human trafficking, asylees, and other newcomers to the US to open savings accounts and save money towards education or towards specific assets such as a vehicle or house. After their savings goals have been met, and after the required financial literacy courses have been completed, JFS will match the amount they saved. Kendall is finding her new position to be very rewarding. Congratulations to Kendall!
