Survey of factors and forces that shape the making and implementation of U.S. foreign policy, including public opinion, the media, US institutions, and interest groups.

Studies of the Vietnam War, US intervention in Somalia, and current events in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria.
 

· Fulfills an International Relations course requirement for PLS majors
