Policy Statement

Under the Pregnancy Discrimination Act (PDA), a pregnancy will be treated the same as any other “disability”.  The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) will be followed in approving a leave of absence.  Information about the Family and Medical Leave Act can be found in the President's Cabinet Policies.  Additional information about the Maternity Leave Policy can be found on the Human Resources website.
