This museum is 3 floors of history, trivia, and exhibits. It has several permanent exhibits including Anishinabek: The People of this Place focusing on the native people of the Grand Rapids area, Streets of Old Grand Rapids showing GR as it was in the 1890s, and West Michigan Habitats displaying some of the animals you might encounter on this side of the state. A museum dedicated to the life and office of President Gerald R. Ford. A Grand Rapids native, his museum is housed here and he is buried on the grounds. The outdoor area and park are a nice place to relax and several outdoor events are held here in the warm weather months.
