DESCRIPTION:The Department of Physics will be hosting an eclipse viewing event on April 8\, 2024\, from 1\:30 &ndash\; 3\:30 pm in front of Kirkhof Center. We will have glasses\, solar telescopes and a pinhole camera for safely observing the eclipse. Note that it is not safe to look directly at the sun\, even if the sun is covered by the moon. Informational events will also be held at the beginning of the event and prior to the maximum coverage\, which occurs around 3\:11 pm.
