EGR 107 Team Selected to Compete in IEEE Industry Applications Society Robotics Demonstration Contest

An EGR 107 student team composed of Corey Moura, Jesse Holwerda, and Joseph Lentine has been invited by the IEEE Industry Applications Society to demo their robot in Portland, OR in September. The top four entries from the world were invited and will compete for a cash prize up to $800. The EGR 107 course was led by affiliate faculty Scott Zuidema and Ted Kocharian. Other finalists include teams from the University of New Mexico, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, and the University of Moratuwa (Sri Lanka). Congratulations team GVSU!
