Padnos College of Engineering and Computing Student Success Centers
The School of Computing Success Center in MAK C-2-205 is provided to help students succeed in introductory classes. Services include scheduled and walk-in tutoring, faculty office hours, and group study sessions. If you would like more assistance in any of these courses, you can stop by!

The School of Engineering Student Success Center supports students in first-year and sophomore engineering courses. Faculty experts in multiple course areas and successful peer tutors are available to help support students for drop-in tutoring for EGR 100 & 200-level courses.

University-Wide Tutoring options
The Tutoring Center is a fantastic resource offered to all Grand Valley State University students. At the Tutoring Center, students will find tutoring for most 100- and 200- level courses and a list of all tutoring resources on campus.
You can request a tutor at this site, and you can apply to become a tutor.

Academic Coaching sessions are designed to help students improve academic performance and confidence. Any GVSU student can meet with an academic coach in person individually to discuss a variety of topics including:
Time Management, Test-taking Strategies, Reading Strategies and Concentration, Note-taking, Study skills, Academic Procrastination and Motivation, Deep-processing Study Techniques, Apps/Technology, Academic Self-advocacy, Effective Resource Utilization, Goal-setting, Overcoming Academic Obstacles, Managing Academic Pressure and Stress
The Math Center offers the following:
FREE walk-in tutoring for MTH classes as well as the MTTC
Current textbooks for use in the center
TI-84 graphing calculators to check out
Computers to work on (sorry, no printer!)
Whiteboard tables for easy-to-erase problem solving
The writing center is able to help assist with any type of writing project, at any stage of the writing process.
They offer writing resources, appointments and walk-in appointments.
