Earth to GV: Students Collaborate with NASA on Prototype Device

While the initial testing phase is over, NASA may choose to utilize the Astro Anchor�s flagpole design in their upcoming missions to the moon. The upcoming Artemis 3 mission will mark the first crewed moon landing since Apollo 17 in 1972.

During the second week of June 2024, the team visited the Johnson Space Center for the testing of the lunar flagpole. GVSU's device was the only one to functionally deploy during the allotted time and also withstand the applied forces!

Congratulations to the Casting Club for securing three placements in this year's Cast In Steel Halligan Bar Competition. The team came 3rd place overall ,  2nd  place in the video category and 3rd place in the performance category!

GV Solar Racing Team builds solar car, hopes to compete

Born named interim dean of Padnos College of Engineering
