The GVSU MPAS Program is celebrating its 20th year and we would like to celebrate with our alumni and preceptors!  Please join us for a reception including local craft beer and deli spread starting at 6:30 pm at Founders Brewing Co. followed by a presentation at 7:30 pm entitled "Management of Acute Ankle Injuries" by GVSU alumni Dennis C. Gregory, PA-C ('03).

Dennis C Gregory, PA-C is a practicing Physician Assistant working in the field of Orthopaedic surgery.  For 15yrs, he is employed by Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan specializing in Orthopaedic trauma and joint reconstruction.  A 1996 graduate of Grand Valley State University, he completed his coursework at Kingston University, England, obtaining his Bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences.  He returned to Grand Valley State University in 1999 and earned his Masters degree of Physician Assistant Studies in 2002.  He graduated from the Grand Rapids Physician Assistant Surgical Residency Program in 2003.  Professional achievements include Course Chair for the OTA PA/NP Trauma Course, Ex-Officio OTA Membership Committee, past Vice-President Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery (PAOS), American Academy of Physician Assistants House of Delegates Representative for PAOS, PA Chair Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan with numerous Orthopaedic conference presentations and lectures.  He is involved with multiple national, Orthopaedic and state academies including the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA), Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA) and Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery.  Hobbies include fly fishing, mountain biking, camping and custom computing.
