HHLC, Maple, Oak, Pine, Robinson, Copeland

Monday 12/11 and Tuesday 12/12:

The gate on Residence Dr. will be closed, preventing vehicular traffic to the Copeland circle drive and HHLC loop. Vehicles must use metered parking in D1 or walk from D4-D9.

Wednesday 12/13: 9AM-12PM  &  2PM-6PM

These are the only times vehicles will be permitted to the Copeland circle drive and HHLC loop, and only as space permits as controlled by Public Safety staff.

Thursday 12/14 and Friday 12/15: 9AM-12PM  &  2PM-6PM

These are the only times vehicles will be permitted to the Copeland circle drive and HHLC loop, and only as space permits as controlled by Public Safety staff.

*Other than the times above that are controlled by GVPD, vehicle access to MOP, HHLC, Robinson, and Copeland is prohibited. Gates will be closed, and parking will be strictly monitored. If moving at times other than those above, pay-to-park metered spaces are first come, first serve. Only a limited number of vehicles will be permitted to enter the HHLC loop or circle drive at a time, and there is limited space for staging. Before approaching staff for building access during the above times, all items must be packed (and on the main level) as you will be limited to 10 minutes of loading.

All Other Living Centers

If you are hauling large or heavy items from your living center to you vehicle and need building access, you MUST park in a metered space or residential lot. If you need access to the Kirkpatrick, Swanson, Stafford, Seidman, or Laker Village Apartments, you must call Parking Customer Service at (616)331-7275 to request 10 minute drive-up privileges. Parking in single lanes, fire lanes, or building entrances is a safety hazard and is prohibited, and may result in a citation.

The following are regulations designed to ensure the safety of our campus community and require compliance:

*Building access will be limited to 10 minutes. It is best to have all items brought to the main floor before retrieving your vehicle.

*In case of emergency, someone must stay with the vehicle at all times, so it is best to work out a plan with a friend or roommate to stay by vehicle/belongings.

*Under no circumstances may a vehicle be parked in or block a building entrance or exit, fire lane, or in the grass!

Please contact Parking Customer Service at (616)331-7275 or visit their website at www.gvsu.edu/parking.
