Fall 2019 Parking Changes

This summer has been filled with lot construction and reconfiguration, adding additional pay-to-park areas, and revisions to the Parking Ordinance. Make sure you are up to date on the latest information to avoid citations. Changes include:

Daily Permits $10

Daily student permits are $10 per day. Parking permits are required beginning the first day of classes.

KC Lot Construction

All meters have been removed from the KC Lot. The KC Lot now accommodates ADA parking only (with GVSU permit or pay-to-park). Short-term pay-to-park has been relocated to Lot H. An off-campus apartment shuttle drop-off site has been added. This is not a pick-up or drop-off site for personal vehicles.

Short-term pay-to-park rates are $2.50 per hour at all meters and pay stations on the Allendale and Pew Campuses. Academic area pay-to-park has a maximum stay of 2 hours. Residential area pay-to-park has a maximum stay of 30 minutes. There are no meters or student parking available on the Health Campus. Traditional parking meters have been removed from the Pew Campus and replaced with pay-by-phone via the ParkMobile App. The Lot D1 meters in Allendale have been removed and will become pay-by-phone via ParkMobile later this Fall.
