Art2Park - Canceled for 2017

Unfortunately, due to unavoidable circumstances, Parking Services will not be able to facilitate the annual Art2Park contest this spring.  We understand this contest has become popular with the GVSU community. It is our intention to return next year to tap into the creativity of our student population. Keeping students the focus and reason the contest was originated, we reached out to Senior, Stephen Dobrzynski, whose designs have placed in our Top Ten the past two years.  Stephen has agreed to allow Parking Services to use one of his designs for the 2017-2018 academic year. We are excited to give Stephen the opportunity to showcase his artistic talent and graphic design skills.

Please check back for more information on Stephen and details of the design that has been chosen.

What is Art2Park?

It is an annual contest where students are given the opportunity to show off their creative side by submitting a design for the next academic years parking permit.  Designers will be asked to allow their creativity to run wild, while following university trademark and logo standards.

In the spring, we run a popular vote online contest (similar to ArtPrize) that allows the GVSU community to select the winning design.  The winner receives a parking permit good for the next year at no charge (currently $380).
