DESCRIPTION:The symposium is a way to feature the work of student researchers\, scholars\, and musicians through non-traditional means. We have partnered with Grand Valley State University Alumna and chalk artist\, Emily Miller\, &#39\;14 and &#39\;20\, who worked with students to translate research from traditional posters and oral talks to the sidewalk.\n\n\n\nEvent Details\n\n\n\n\n\n	Chalk artists will be present from 4\:00 - 6\:30 p.m.\n\n	Located on the north side of Mary Idema Pew Library SE plaza area.\n\n	Participants will be joined by GVSU Alum and local chalk artist\, Emily Miller.\n\n	In case of inclement weather\, the event will be moved to the Kirkhof Center Lobby. \n\n	Campus chalking policy will be followed.\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease register for Chalk Art by Friday\, September 11\, 2026\, at 11\:59 p.m.
