Occupational Safety & Health Student Demonstrates How to Make a Bandanna Mask

When the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended that people wear face masks out in public to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Occupational Safety & Health student, Kasey Wesley, took it upon herself to create a mask-making tutorial to help members of the public protect themselves and others using common materials found at home.

"Since the CDC has now recommended that we wear masks (scarves, tight-knit fabric, bandannas, cotton) while in public to help stop the spread of COVID-19, here's a quick video on how to make a mini face mask out of a bandanna and 2 hair ties (or rubber bands)!" said Kasey. "The looser the hair tie, the more comfortable it is! This is not ideal for long term use. Short term durations are better."
