The Native American Student Association (NASA) at Grand Valley State University (GVSU) is excited to be planning the 19th annual Celebrating All Walks of Life Traditional Pow Wow.  This cultural celebration is scheduled for Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9 in the GVSU Fieldhouse located on the Allendale campus. 

A Pow Wow is a community gathering and celebration of Native American culture through ceremony, song, dance, feasting and socializing.  Traditional Pow Wows include dancers, drummers, invited Elders, Veterans and other honored guests to perform and participate in the celebration.  A successful Pow Wow includes a variety of areas including dancers, drummers, singers, vendors, ceremony and food.

Saturday, April 8, 2017
11:00am:  Doors open and vendor sales begin
1:00pm:  Grand Entry (dancing and drumming begins)
4:00pm:  Break
6:00pm  Grand Entry (dancing and drumming begins)
9:00pm:  Pow Wow Closing

Sunday, April 9, 2017
11:00am:  Doors open and vendor sales begin
12:00pm:  Grand Entry (dancing and drumming begins)
4:00:  Pow Wow ends
