A panel of five graduate students, will express their exhaustion of having to show up professionally and achieve academically at GVSU as the Black community is repeatedly assaulted at a staggering rate. This panel will provide attendees with insight on what it means to be Black at a predominantly White institution during the COVID-19 pandemic, a polarized election, and the ever-prevalent accounts of police brutality.
