Welcome to the Office of Multicultural Affairs website.  Our office is located in the heart of our GVSU main campus in Allendale, Michigan.  Our mission is to support efforts in recruiting and retaining diverse students; to educate, engage and empower all students to live in a multicultural world; and to advocate for a socially just campus environment. 

Five celebrations will be held for diverse students who are graduating in April.

The events are sponsored by the Division of Inclusion and Equity and affinity groups to celebrate the achievements of diverse graduates.

Specific dates, times and locations are listed below. Students, faculty and staff members can register to attend online, using the provided links.

• Lavender Graduation: April 18, 4:30 p.m., Kirkhof Center, room 2204,

• Latino/a Graduation Celebration: April 27, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Haas Center for Performing Arts,

• Black Graduation Celebration: April 27, 2 p.m., Fountain Street Church, Grand Rapids,

• Native Student Graduation Celebration: April 27, 4:30-6:30 p.m., L. William Seidman Center, room 1008A,
