Working , based on the book of interviews of the same name by Pulitzer Prize-winning oral historian Studs Terkel, explores the relationship between our occupations and our humanity as seen through the eyes of the workers we frequently take for granted. This 2012 rework of the 1978 musical features new songs from Lin-Manuel Miranda and updated professions, but ultimately provides the same glimpse into the contemporary American landscape as the original Tony-nominated production.
