Tom Stoppard’s post-modern adaptation of Shakespeare’s Hamlet focuses on two minor characters from the original text, Hamlet’s childhood friends Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. The audience follows this doomed pair as they wander in and out of the main events of the original play, all while contemplating life and its complexities.
