Orchestra Side-by-Side with Traverse City Central HS

Description
On December 6 we welcome the Traverse City High School Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Michael Markley for a Side by Side concert with the GVSU Symphony Orchestra.
The GVSU Symphony Orchestra will be playing Symphony No. 32 by Mozart, Symphony No. 2 by Borodin, and Black Swan, which is an arrangement of a Brahms Intermezzo by Bright Sheng. The two orchestras will then combine for music of the season performing the little-known Sleigh Ride by Delius as well as the well-known Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson.
