DESCRIPTION:Award-winning concert pianist\, Julia Siciliano has been heralded as a musician with\n\n&#39\;fabulous creative power&#39\; by the Bonn General-Anzeiger. Ms. Siciliano has become a well respected\n\nand anticipated rising talent on the world stage\, being invited as a solo artist by many\n\nprestigious orchestras\, and festivals\, most recently with the Orquestra Sinf&oacute\;nica de la Region de\n\nMurcia for the MurciArt Music Festival. A winner of many local and international piano\n\ncompetitions\, Julia has won top prizes at the Sicily International Piano Competition\, Heida\n\nHermanns International Competition\, Iowa Piano Competition\, and MTNA National\n\nCompetition. A highly active chamber musician\, Julia has been invited to perform on concert\n\nseries and festivals with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Chamber Players\, the Euskadiko\n\nOrchestra&#39\;s &#39\;Miramon Matinees&#39\;\, Donostia Musika series at Teatro Victoria Eugenia in San\n\nSebasti&aacute\;n\, Spain\, and the La Verdi chamber music series in Teatro Gerolamo di Milano. She has\n\ngiven recitals with Metropolitan Opera stars Amanda Pabyan\, Eric Owens\, and Marina\n\nDomashenko\, and internationally acclaimed instrumentalists Hayoung Choi\, Simone Lamsma\,\n\nand Alexei Ogrintchouk. Most notably\, Julia performed the complete &#39\;accompanied sonatas&#39\; of\n\nBeethoven in the year 2020 at the Teatro Victoria Eugenia in Donostia-San Sebasti&aacute\;n\, Spain\, and\n\nin various venues throughout the United States\, France\, and Sweden.\n\n\n\nJulia has an active performing career in both solo and chamber music capacities across stages in\n\nNorth America\, Central America\, Europe and Asia. She has performed multiple times live on\n\nChicago radio station WFMT\, Detroit&#39\;s historic Scarab Club\, Cincinnati Music Hall\, the\n\nBulgarian Consulate in New York City\, Teatro Nacional of Gautemala\, Malm&ouml\;Live in Malm&ouml\;\,\n\nSweden\, Teatro Victoria Eugenia in San Sebasti&aacute\;n\, Spain\, Palazzo Biscari in Catania\, Italy\,\n\nTeatro Gerolamo in Milan\, Italy\, Parvis de l&#39\;&eacute\;glise Notre-Dame d&#39\;Esp&eacute\;rance in Cannes\,\n\nDeutsche Telekom Headquarters in Bonn\, Clairmont Hall in Tel Aviv\, Rachmaninov Hall in\n\nMoscow\, and Kioi Hall in Tokyo.\n\n\n\nHer debut solo album &quot\;Dream Catchers&quot\;\, a two disc album featuring small scale works by\n\nBeethoven\, Schumann\, Schubert\, Ravel and Debussy\, released in 2016 to great acclaim. Fanfare\n\nMagazine declared &#39\;this release has merit as a career milestone&#39\; and leaves &#39\;no doubt about the\n\ndevotion and seriousness of Siciliano&#39\;s approach to music.&quot\; Gramophone Magazine praised her\n\n&quot\;fine technique and natural musicality&quot\; pinpointing her &quot\;masterful delicacy\, harmonic motion\,\n\nand timing&quot\; in Debussy&#39\;s Images II.\n\n\n\nSiciliano holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music\, where she studied with Nelita True\,\n\nand the University of Michigan\, where she studied with Logan Skelton.
