DESCRIPTION:Students wishing to major or minor in Dance at Grand Valley State University should complete an online application for the Dance Program\, where you will choose your audition date.  Students are encouraged to audition early\, as scholarships are limited. \n\n\n\nScholarships are awarded on the basis of individual talent and potential\, and are renewable annually if performance and academic standards are maintained.\n\n\n\n2025-2026 Audition Dates\n\nFriday\, November 7\, 2025 (For Winter 2026 or Fall 2026 entry)\n\nFriday\, January 23\, 2026 (For Fall 2026 entry)\n\nFriday\, February 13\, 2026 (For Fall 2026 entry)\n\nFriday\, March 20\, 2026 (For Fall 2026 entry) (scholarship consideration concludes)\n\n\n\nAt your audition date\, you will participate in movement classes\, present solo work\, engage in creative practice\, and interview with the faculty. \n\n\n\nPlease email Bridgett at vandebri@gvsu.edu with questions about audition scheduling or the audition process.\n\n\n\nAlthough we encourage in-person auditions\, we understand that this may not be a possibility for everyone and we do have a virtual option available upon request.
