GVSU Wind Band Workshop
Dear Students, Parents and Directors:
We would like to invite musicians in grades 9-12 to apply for the 2018 Grand Valley State University Wind Band Workshop. The Workshop will be held on the Allendale campus according to the schedule listed below. I hope that you, or your students or children, will be able to join us and encourage other eligible musicians to apply. This will be an outstanding day of music making with several new aspects, including the opportunity to play along side collegiate musicians, master classes with our faculty, and a workshop with our widely acclaimed New Music Ensemble.
Fee: $20, which helps to offset the costs of meals, music, recordings, group photo and T-shirt. The remainder of the costs are provided by the GVSU Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
Application: All applications will be online. The honors band is open to all high school musicians from grades 9 – 12. The application is combined with the director recommendation in a single submission.

January 19, 2018: Payment of $20 and Permission Slip/Assumption of Risk due. Make checks payable to GVSU and mail to Kevin Tutt, B-4-232 Mackinac Hall, Grand Valley State University, 1 Campus Drive, Allendale MI 49401
January 20, 2018: Confirmation of payment and password access to music files sent by email to those who have paid. Alternates contacted to replace withdrawals.
