Tricia graduated from GVSU in the winter of 2013 and immediately accepted a Spanish teaching position at Coopersville High School. She loves working with novice level students as she shares her passion of the Spanish language and culture. While at Coopersville, Tricia started to work with native Spanish speakers which led her to seek a Master's degree in TESOL. Not only does she teach Spanish, but she now mentors high school students who speak English as their second language. She has learned so much about language acquisition and methodology for both Spanish and English, and she is excited to see where her degrees will take her in the future!
