Description

Día de los Muertos is a holiday in which people pray for and remember loved ones who've died. The alters have food as offerings and calaveras (sugar skulls) that display colorful designs to represent the vitality and individual personality of the departed. Stop by the Modern Languages and Literatures Department to view an alter created by Prof. Fernández Flórez's SPA 101 and 320 students. You can even create a sugar skull for a loved one you've lost and add it to the alter! It's on display until Tuesday, November 3rd.

This event also appears on the main events calendar.
