The clock is ticking…
Mr. Green, a 76-year-old esteemed local war hero, was recently admitted to the hospital after a fall and is rapidly declining. It’s up to you and your interprofessional team to go to Mr. Green’s hospital room and work together to solve the puzzle and find Mr. Green’s lifesaving treatment in under 60 minutes. It’s no easy task, but it can be done, especially if you remember to use the IPEC Core Competencies (Values/Ethics, Roles/Responsibilities, Interprofessional Communication, & Teams/Teamwork) to guide effective interprofessional collaboration.
Keep in mind time is of utmost importance!
The team that finds Mr. Green’s treatment in the fastest amount of time will win entrance into a local Escape Room!
All students, faculty, & staff from across institutions are welcome to participate (no specific coursework is required)! Up to 5 participants can sign-up for each time slot. At least 2 disciplines MUST be represented on each team in order to participate.
Participants are able to sign-up as individuals OR as a group. You may ONLY sign up for one time slot.
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to learn from, about, and with students and faculty from across disciplines. All students, faculty, & staff from across institutions are welcome to attend!
This event will count as one PIPES Simulation Requirement for the MIPERC Student Certification in IPE.
