Research areas: I enjoy applying math to a real-world situation. For example, a mutation may occur once in a cellular process that happens billions of times in the span of several minutes- will it always lead to cancer? What kind of feedback is required to cause a malignant tumor, and what are ways we can treat it? I am open to any area of applied mathematics, not just mathematical biology. What topic interests you?
