DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in a new and creative way to tell people about your thesis or other major project?\n\n\n\nJoin us for a new workshop with Mary Ruge\, Liaison Librarian in Liberal Arts (and comics scholarship aficionado)\, to learn how to turn their thesis\, essay\, or whatever you want into a zine!\n\n\n\nA zine (pronounced ZEEN) is a self-published\, non-commercial print work that allows you to infuse some creativity into your scholarship while making all of your hard work more accessible to peers and novices alike! No prior zine-making experience is required. All you will need is an idea (already written or still being conceived) and an openness to getting creative. Examples and art supplies will be provided.\n\n\n\nRegistration is appreciated for the workshop organizers&#39\; preparation but is not required. All are welcome though the program will be most suitable for upper grade levels\, college students\, and adult learners.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nIf you or any individuals with disabilities in your group need accessibility accommodations\, please contact Stacey Burns\, University Libraries Programs and Outreach Manager\, at burnssta@gvsu.edu to communicate your needs.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n
