A 35 year epidemic has cost us millions of lives around the globe. Community based organizations and groups have led the way to create change hand in hand with new research. If we really wanted to end this epidemic today, what would it take?
Participants will be able to identify established prevention options as well as new(er) concepts such as PrEP, PEP, TasP, BNABS.
Participants will understand the risk of transmission of HIV.
Participants will learn to critically assess the impact of stigma, discrimination, lack of access to healthcare and sexual education have had on the spread of HIV specifically.
