Femme Queen Chronicles: Movie Screening & Dialogue

Tuesday, March 28, 2023 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, in the Grand River Room (Kirkhof Center 2250, Allendale Campus).

Join us for a movie screening of Femme Queen Chronicles (FQC) and a conversation with the film creator, Ahya Simone. This event will also feature a harp performance by Ahya! Drag Show

Wednesday, March 29, 2023 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM, at the Cook-Dewitt Center Auditorium, Allendale campus.

We are partnering with the GV Men's Volleyball to bring you a drag show for Transgender Week of Visibility! This show will feature local performers, hosted by La Reine Divine, and there will be light refreshments. This event will be $10 at the door, and there are vouchers available from the LGBT Resource Center. Complete the request for a voucher using this form. This event is intended for college-aged folks and up.

Guest Speaker: Jey'nce Poindexter and Togetherness Event

Thursday, March 30, 2023 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, on the second floor of the Eberhard Center (301 Fulton St W, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). Downtown campus.

Please join us to hear from an esteemed guest speaker in honor of Trans Day of Visibility. We will be hosting Michigan-based trans activist, House Icon, community pioneer (Ruth Ellis Center and Trans Sistas of Color Project), Jey’nce Poindexter. There will be food, refreshments, and the opportunity to create your own self-care kits. This event is INT 100/201 approved.

Pride Prom: Y2GAY

Friday, 6:30 - 9:30 PM, in the Grand River Room (Kirkhof Center 2250, Allendale campus). 

Get your early 2000s on: join us for Pride Prom! The theme is Y2K, so bring your best 2000s vibe! There is no dress code for this event, wear what makes you feel comfortable! Students may bring a plus one to this event. A sensory friendly room is also available during the event for those who might need a quiet moment.
